Release Notes - April 04, 2023

We're pleased to share enhancements we’re making to the RT4 Booking Engine and the CRS. This release is scheduled to be deployed to U.S. customers on April 5th and to our customers in Asia and the Boyd and Venetian instances on April 12th.

Booking Engine Loyalty Standardization

As we continue to work on integrating 3rd party loyalty programs with the RT4 Booking Engine Loyalty program via APIs, the following items are now available for single property and multi-property loyalty integrations:

• SSO
• Guest Profile > View My Account
• Multi-Rate Display in the Calendar Page (for single property integrations only). Guests can see the dates they are eligible for comp stays as well as the rates for those dates that are not available for comp rates. See screenshot below.

Booking Engine Look and Feel Enhancements

• We moved the cancellation policy box to the rate details pop-up and the label will be called “View rate details & policies.” 
• The amenity icon hover text is now better aligned.
• We increased the amenity icon size to 30x30 pixels. 

• We added the option for hotels to remove the room/rate or grid/list views from the booking engine. Hotels can still change their defaults, but the user will not be able to toggle to change their flow.

GDS Chain Code Enhancements

• To reduce errors and to help improve conversions, we've updated the room and hotel amenity information provided in search responses.
• We made a change in mapping in order to successfully support the Non-Guarantee reservations for GDS.
• Hotels that do not use the RT4/RT3 Booking Engine are no longer required to load room images.

RT4 Call Center Enhancements

• We have implemented a Loyalty API to pass loyalty guest information into the Call Center. This connection enables hotels to monitor players who are not allowed to book a reservation using the new Responsible Gaming flow.

• We have added a price range slider to the filters enabling agents to search rooms by price range.
