Release Notes - May 31, 2023

We're happy to share enticing enhancements being deployed today, May 31, 2023, that will help you work smarter, not harder. Minimal downtime is expected.

Highlights

• The Cendyn CMS backend can now appear in Japanese or French with the click of a toggle. 
• You can submit a support form from any page in the CMS that will auto-populate the page you're on, expediting getting the assistance you need.
• If you have multiple properties and a multitude of forms (or just a few), you'll now be able to associate individual forms with the property, properties or entities of your choosing. 
• To improve deliverability of email alerts of new webform/RFP submissions, we're moving all CMS emails to flow through our tried-and-true, highly respected Cendyn shared IP environment.

Multilingual Backend

Use the new toggle in the top right of the dashboard to change the labels in the backend to Japanese or French. New labels will be translated as we develop new modules.

New Support Form

Click Contact Support at the top of any page in the CMS to open a blank support form.

The form will auto-populate the page you're on, providing critical information to our support team. Enter details about the issue you've encountered, upload files as necessary, and select Submit.

New Form Associations

You can now associate a form with a particular property, multiple properties or the entire brand. To associate a new form you need to create with a particular property or brand, select the property or brand first, then create the form.

The new form will appear under Forms > Available Forms for the property or brand under which it was created. 

To add more properties to be associated with the form, select the brand name.

Go to the Available Forms tab and click the Form name that you want to update.

Select the Properties tab, check-off the properties that should be associated with the form, then Save.

Improved Deliverability of Webforms & RFPs

Receiving email alerts of new webform/RFP submissions in a timely fashion is critical to a hotel’s success. To improve deliverability and minimize emails from being blocked due to reputation or spam filters, we're moving all CMS emails to flow through our tried-and-true, highly respected Cendyn shared IP environment. To take full advantage of these deliverability improvements, please have your IT team whitelist/safelist the following IPs and domains: 149.72.232.17, 149.72.232.24, 149.72.245.86, and @nextguest.com.
