Release Notes - September 18, 2023
We're rolling out some exciting new updates this week, including the addition of rate plan descriptions to the Call Center and incredible new Loyalty Tiers functionality. Read on for all the deets. ➡️
This release is scheduled to be deployed to U.S. and EMEA customers on September 20, 2023, and to our customers in Asia, the Boyd and Venetian instances on September 27, 2023. Don't fret — minimal downtime is expected.

Rate Plan Descriptions Coming to Call Center - with Added Bonus
We know you always work hard to create Short and Detailed Descriptions for each of your rate plans so guests will be supremely informed. All that hard work is about to be put to further good use since we're adding those rate plan descriptions to the Call Center. Those agents will now also benefit from your efforts. Cool, right? 😎
But wait, there's more!
The rate plan description is getting a new field called Agent Notes. That's where you'll enter internal-only information 🔒 about the rate that's important for Call Center agents to share with guests.
Perhaps you want the agent to know that booking the Military Rate requires the guest to show valid military ID upon check-in. Or, maybe it's important to note for the Bed & Breakfast package that the breakfast lounge is closed on a specific Saturday, but a voucher will be provided to a sister hotel's lounge. The possibilities are endless!
So, plan to get to work entering all those helpful tidbits for your agents following the release. (Sorry about that extra work ⌨️ but it'll be worth it, we promise!)
Loyalty Tiers Like You've Never Seen
We've overhauled our Loyalty Tiers so they'll feel brand-spankin' new. ✨
Since our last release in August, you've been able to integrate your Loyalty Tier functionality and send it to your PMS. (We've kept it under wraps 🙊 because we wanted to share the whole package with you now! Pretty sneaky, huh?)
Once you've configured your Loyalty Tier setup in the CRS...
...it will appear in all the appropriate places in the Booking Engine, including the Manage Account tab, the Guest Information tab (seen below) and the Confirmation tab.
And there's even more to come! (notice a pattern here?) 😉
With this upcoming release, the Loyalty Tiers will display in the Call Center as well! Check it out:
