Release Notes - September 25, 2023
Hold onto your hats 🤠, folks, because we have some fantastic CMS enhancements coming your way on Wednesday, September 27, 2023. Minimal downtime is expected so don't sweat it.
You'll be able to insert your custom icons anywhere you want with just a couple clicks, send data collected on website forms directly to your Salesforce instance (assuming you have one, of course!) and configure the TravelClick booking engine adapter yourself, right in the CMS! Pretty cool, huh? 😎
Let's take a closer look at each enhancement so you can fully appreciate the value they'll bring you.
Adding an Icon to a Page
First things first, you'll have to upload your icons using the Image module. (They won't appear there magically, even if you really want them to. 🤭) Pro tip: Upload them in the size you want them to display.
Next, you'll head to the page you want to add the icon to, obviously. Insert your cursor exactly where you want the cute little guy to appear. Click Insert Widget. There you'll see the shiny new widget called, you guessed it, Icon.
Select the icon you want and configure the optional fields including adding a URL. Preview the page to admire your cute little guy on the page. That's it! Think of all the time you'll save!

New Salesforce Form Integration
Do you have Salesforce and wish you could just capture your form data there? No more exports, imports, and endless spreadsheets clogging your day? Well, your wish is being granted! 🌟
It only takes just a few minutes to enable the integration using your Salesforce API URL, Consumer Key and Consumer Secret.
Once enabled, all CMS fields in all forms will have a duplicate field below with the same name and (SF) appended at the end. This is where you'll enter the Salesforce field code to map to the CMS field above it. 🤝🏼 Pro tip: contact your Salesforce representative to get your mapping field info.
After you've mapped your desired fields, the data will flow seamlessly to Salesforce. When a form is submitted, you'll receive confirmation that the data was submitted to Salesforce. If there's an error in the submission, don't fret, the data will be saved in the CMS. 😅
TravelClick Adapter
If you use the TravelClick booking engine, you'll be able to configure your booking engine directly in the CMS using the new adapter we're adding. You'll need to set it up in two locations, but it won't take more than a few minutes. ⏲️
