Release Notes - November 13, 2023

We're about to elevate your experience with some incredible updates coming your way, including further enhancements to Booker Information and the Rate Calendar in the Call Center, and Loyalty upsells to support the RT3 Booking Engine. Keep reading for a deeper dive. 🤿

This release is scheduled to be deployed to U.S. and EMEA customers on November 15, 2023, and to our customers in Asia, the Boyd and Venetian instances on November 28, 2023. Minimal downtime is expected. No need to stress. 💅

Call Center Enhancements

New Options for Your Booker Information 

As you may recall, we recently introduced the ability for agents to capture the booker's name and phone number at the very beginning of an initial call. Now we're enabling you to configure if the Booker Information can be modified either as a Non-Critical Modification (change to name, address, guest preferences, notes, etc.) or a Critical Modification (change to dates, rates, or rooms) via a setting in the Admin. We're also enabling you to choose whether or not the agent can see the Booker Information on the Reservation Lookup view.

Rate Calendar Power-up

We're introducing a new calendar feature on the Call Center that allows agents to easily view available comp nights and discounted rates for your loyalty guests. The new calendar tool will come with an offer code search box and adult/child count to enable agents to narrow down searches with lightning speed. 🌩️

Seamless Login Available

Hotels can now integrate their Call Center with their external access management system such as Okta, to enable SSO, providing their agents with a seamless and more secure experience logging into the Call Center. Authorizing access directly from the access management system frees your agents from having to manage multiple accounts, and having to keep track of one less password is nearly invaluable! 😄

External Loyalty Upsell Boost for RT3 Booking Engine

We're adding an easier workflow for you to define which room types are complimentary by default and which room types are qualified for an upsell. Dynamically manage your upsell amounts by room type, date range or DOW to optimize incremental revenue based on demand dates. These enhancements are coming to the RT4 Booking Engine soon so stay tuned. 📺
