Release Notes - January 10, 2024
Be prepared to be impressed with the new updates we're introducing this week, including a new Admin user permission level, extended access to users of the PMS Profile module, and a game-changing PMS Profile dashboard. Keep reading for the full scoop. 🍨
You should have already received a communication about expected downtime.
📢 Calling all Admin Users
Following this release, you'll be able to designate specified users of your organization as Admin users. What will these select individuals be able to do as an Admin user, you rightly ask. Well, first off, when they click the new Admin option in their user drop-down menu, they'll be taken to the shiny ✨ new Admin area.
There they'll be able to:
- Set up inbound and outbound email connectivity
- Set up external OAuth providers and connections
- Bulk import records into the CRM (e.g., B2B accounts or contacts)
- Set up and manage automated workflows (e.g., automatically create a task when a new contract is signed)
- Configure PMS Profiles matching criteria
Now that you understand the Admin user role, decide who should take up the mantle and share that intel with your Cendyn representative - who will get them set up lickety-split. 💨
Defining PMS Profiles matching criteria will be a breeze with this new capability.
PMS Profile Promotion for All!
Any user who has access to the PMS Profile module will now be able to promote a PMS Profile to a B2B Account. Power to the people! 💪
New PMS Profile Dashboard
We're renaming the "Admin Tasks" dashboard to "PMS Profiles" dashboard. At a quick glance 👁️ you'll be able to see your PMS Profiles by account link status: how many were auto-linked, manually linked and not yet linked. Being able to work more easily with PMS Profiles operationally will result in an improved matching ratio and superior reporting.
Alongside the chart, you'll see a list of the unlinked PMS Profiles. Swiftly address these PMS Profiles that weren't captured by the auto-linking by clicking the Name or View icon to jump to the record and update it. Easy peasy, right?
Last but not least, the PMS Profiles dashlet will boast these new columns and filters: Base Type, Hotel Short Name and B2B Account Linked.
