To open Skyscanner campaigns, click directly on Skyscanner or use the drop-down menu.
On this page, which is dedicated to Skyscanner’s campaign management, you will find 3 tabs:
Hotel Campaign Settings: to set up your campaigns
Select Columns: to choose the metrics you want to display on your dashboard
View By: To display your results depending on Device, Market or Date
To activate your Skyscanner campaigns, go to HOTEL CAMPAIGN SETTINGS.
Please note that the Hotel Campaign Settings section was updated. We are working on the new process. To open the campaigns please do the following: Select your Hotel → Choose SKYSCANNER → view by "market"-> check the markets (all of them or one of your choice) → Edit Settings.
Several bidding options are available via the GLOBAL tab:
Manual bid: You set a fixed CPC manually above. If you set up 2€, each click on your campaigns will cost 2€.
Minimum bid: You bid on the standard price of the country concerned (CPC amount is displayed on 2nd tab).
You can choose a bidding system for each device type: Desktop, Mobile.
By default, the auction configured in the GLOBAL tab applies to all markets.
However, you can customize your campaigns via the BY MARKET tab.
In this tab are listed the available countries as well as the current Return on Ad Spend and the minimum bid amount.
The fourth column “Bid Option” shows you the bidding system currently in place. “Use Global Settings” indicates that these are the global settings that apply. You can change the auction for a particular market or close the market by choosing “No Bid”.
The last column “Current bid” indicates the current bid amount in place for that market.
Do not forget to SAVE your updates.
The SELECT COLUMNS button gives you the possibility to choose the Key Performance Indicators you want to display on your dashboard. Tick or untick, then save.
Definitions are available for each metric by putting the mouse over it.
Let’s now see the VIEW BY drop-down menu, which allows you to display the results of your campaigns according to different criteria and adjust your initial settings:
The view by Device Type shows you results according to the device used by the user when clicking on your ads: Desktop and Mobile.
The view by Market shows you results according to the market the user is coming from when clicking on your ad. Click on the “+” to get additional details per market.
The view by Date shows you the daily results of your campaigns.
Your Skyscanner campaigns are now open and your rates will be displayed within a week.
