This Cendyn CRM article discusses two types of custom field categories: Contact fields and Product fields. Custom Contact Fields contain demographic information about guests or clients, sourced from booking engines, pixel tracking, or Wi-Fi portals. These fields can be verified through a drop-down menu. Custom Product Fields include information about reservations or purchases from booking engines or PMS. It's noted that while there may be numerous custom fields, not every contact will have all fields filled out, necessitating alternative methods, like using the "Country" field, to communicate effectively.
Custom Contacts Fields
The data in these fields is information about the guest or client themselves. This demographic information can come from booking engines, pixel tracking, wifi portals, etc.
You will be able to verify custom fields that you’re receiving from different sources from the drop-down menu located at the upper-right of the screen.

Note: Although you may have 10 or more custom fields, any given contact may only have a few of them. For example, a portion of your total audience may not have the field language filled out, in this case, to accurately communicate with this group, we can use fields such as “Country” to identify their language.
