Adding marketing consent in your forms ensures compliance with data protection laws, builds customer trust, and enhances your marketing database. This results in more effective campaigns and better engagement with customers who have explicitly opted in to receive your communications.
Navigate to the left hand side menu page Lead Generation > Forms, create a new form or select an existing one.
Contact your CSM if forms are not activated for your account.
- Fill in all required fields from the Basic Information Step
- Click Continue to edit the Form Builder
- When dragging the information you want to be included on your form , make sure to add the checkbox: Marketing Consent
- Click the pencil button to edit the box and add the required information
- On the next step, click Refresh Form and Code to save the changes made.
This information will be saved for each of your contacts, and it will be available in their profiles.
To see this information, navigate to Audience & Contacts >Contact
- Select the contact that you want to verify and click the name or email to open its details. On the right side of the screen, you will find the Marketing Consent information.
