Audience List

Audience Lists, allows you to keep track of web subscribers, upload set lists of users independent of specific data points, and diversify your preference center options. 

For example, you can use Audience Lists to:

1. Create a special list for types of Newsletters or offers list, new club subscribers etc. 
2. Enable public list subscriptions for users to update their preferences.

Segments

Segments allow you to reach a specific target group.  You can create segments based on any imported historical data as well as live data updates received via integrations. Segments are dynamic and used to send campaigns.

For example , you can use Segments to:

1. Organize clients based on multiple data points to get a set group for: Language, Country, Club Member (True or False) or other demographics.
2. Use multiple filters to reach a specific subgroup: Users that booked last year + have visited a specific hotel + that checked out last week + speak English.

There’s no limit on how many filters or how many segments you can create, however, it is important to know your custom fields to better understand your data.
