Release Notes - June 04, 2024
Start here for an introduction to Guestrev's new look and feel.
Do you need answers to these questions?
- Which dates within the next 6 months have a forecast over 90%?
- Which DOAs have a lower forecast, and should we consider a marketing campaign to boost demand for those dates?
- How does my actual and forecasted ADR and Room RevPar for the current month compare to the same time last year (STLY)?
Well, you're in luck! We're thrilled to announce that the all-new Executive Summary view is launching Wednesday, June 05, 2024. You'll be able to quickly answer those questions and many more with just a few clicks. Minimal downtime expected - it's not our first rodeo. 🤠 Let's saddle up and discover the value these enhancements will bring.
The first thing you'll notice is that the new Executive Summary screen replaces the previous Summary screen as the initial view where you'll begin analyzing your property performance.
The Executive Summary page offers a comprehensive overview of metrics for your selected date range allowing you to understand your overall performance and identify specific areas to dive into for a more detailed analysis. You can easily review current and historical performance metrics, including revenue, occupancy, average daily rate (ADR), pace, and sell rates, enabling you to make informed analyses and pricing decisions.
Simply filter data by segment, business type (Transient, Group, or Transient & Group), room category, and user-defined time frames such as current month, prior month(s), a range of future months and current year to refine the viewable data and target your analysis. Comparison periods include Last Year, Two Years Ago, and Three Years Ago. The system's as-of date is shown in the upper-right corner of the page.
Notable New Features
- Calendar date range selection is easier to use and more flexible
- Ability to hide the Calendar or Metrics to consolidate the view of your data
- Scroll forward/backward one month or three months at a time
- Built-in Comparison Year (LY, 2Y, 3Y)
- Single, Multi-Select, and Un-Select All available for key drop-down lists
- Consolidation of graphs onto single screen for quicker analysis (TPOR, Room Nights/OTB, Pace & Rates, Quoted Rates)
Properties must have been running nightly Guestrev cycles for one year in order to view STLY.
The graphs and metrics display ADR, shared occupancy, pace index, and sell rate index. These are set to the property level by default. However, they can be edited for a particular segment or group of segments.
