Preference Management enables Dailypoint (CRM) connected IBE v3 clients to seamlessly access and store guests' interest lists directly within the booking engine. This feature not only facilitates the retrieval of personalized guest preferences from Dailypoint but also allows guests to interact with and save their preferences during the booking process.
Fetching the interest list
- From your profile icon menu, navigate to My Booking Engines
- Click on the booking engine's Site Preferences icon.
- Clicking on the Sync Preferences button to fetch the latest set of preferences from Dailypoint.
Managing Preference Category
Data originating from Dailypoint cannot be modified within the booking engine. However, you can manage the field types within the booking engine to suit your needs.
Once the data is fetched from Dailypoint, admin users can manage the category.
- From the left-hand side menu, navigate to Content Manager > Preference Category and click on the eye icon to edit.
- Configure the preference type to determine how it will appear to customers on the front end.
- Click on Update to save your changes.
Booking Engine Front-End
The front-end screen allows guests to save preferences enabled by the hotel via Dailypoint. Guests can interact with the options and save their preferences, which will then be sent to the CRM upon saving.
