Release Notes - August 30, 2024

We're excited to announce that a new version of eInsight Sales will be rolling out on September 3, 2024. This update brings two brand-new sub-panels that display a PMS Production Summary at the account level, helping you make smarter sales decisions. We're also introducing dynamic contracts to streamline the contract creation process. But that’s not all—now you can add associated hotels to reports, exports, and list imports for opportunities, quotes, and contracts. And if that wasn’t enough, we’re throwing in some new fields and filters to make your experience even better!

Dynamic Contracts

Supporting different field sets for various contract types not only streamlines the contract creation process but also makes it a breeze!

Hotels and hotel chains often juggle different B2B contracts—like Corporate, MICE, and Consortia—each with its own set of data requirements. To lighten the load for sales reps and keep things relevant, the new dynamic contract logic will now show or hide fields based on the chosen contract type.

This nifty feature comes with a custom layout tailored to each contract type, deciding which fields get the spotlight. So, when a user picks a contract type in the “Contracts” module, the perfect layout pops up, letting the sales team focus on what matters most without getting sidetracked by unnecessary details.

PMS Profile Production Sub-Panels for Accounts Module

Two new sub-panels in the “Accounts” module are here to help sales teams make smarter, more informed decisions with a dash of ease, thanks to key PMS production data.

Introducing “PMS Production by Property” and “PMS Production by Month”—two handy sub-panels that neatly summarize production and reservation data from the PMS. Now, you can quickly see how much revenue or how many room nights an account has generated, all in one place.

Sales reps can dive into the following data, making it easier to prioritize accounts or choose the perfect properties to offer:

• Room Nights
• Cancelled Room Nights
• Room Revenue
• Total Revenue
• ADR

With this info at your fingertips, you're all set to make decisions that really count!

Associated Hotels in Reports, Exports, and Data Imports

Currently, users can connect an opportunity, contract, or quote to one or more hotels. But in the upcoming version, things are about to get even better—you'll be able to include those associated hotels in your reports and easily export that information as a CSV from the List View.

To make reporting on opportunities, quotes, and contracts even more powerful, we’re adding a fun new twist: you can now select associated hotels as a field in the “Reports” module. This field will also be ready for action in CSV exports and list imports within the modules. Now, organizing your data just got a whole lot easier!

New and Enhanced Fields and Filters

Standardized Country Fields

To make reporting and matching smoother, we’re giving all address country fields a little upgrade by standardizing them with ISO 3166-alpha-2 country codes. Now, users will be able to easily select the right country from a handy dropdown list. 

“Member of” Enabled as New Field for Mass Update

You'll be able to relate multiple B2B accounts to a parent account in just one step, making hierarchy-building quick and easy! It's like building a family tree for your accounts with just a click.

Street Address Update

Street address will now be available as additional field in the Account Hierarchy Pop-up.

“Member of” and “Interests” being added to PMS Profile Promotion

When promoting a PMS Profile to a B2B Account, you'll have access to even more fields. Plus, you'll be able to specify the parent account (Member of) and add interests, giving you more control and detail.

Search and Filter by IATA ID

You'll be able to search and filter B2B Accounts by IATA ID, making your search faster and easier than ever.
