We're excited to share with you the Cendyn Booking Engine (RT4) and Cendyn Call Center new features and enhancements that were recently deployed.
Booking Engine is Now ADA Compliant
Cendyn Booking Engine is all about accessibility, meeting WCAG 2.1 level AA standards with ease. It's got your back with Cendyn CRS, which makes updating alternate text and image descriptions a breeze. The default ADA theme is in sync with WCAG standards, ensuring assistive technologies can read the UI effortlessly, supporting the appropriate audiences. Plus, navigating the UI is a walk in the park—whether you're using a keyboard or a mouse. Hoteliers also have the flexibility to showcase their ADA/WCAG compliance statements on the front end of the booking engine, making it easy for users to connect with hotels when needed. And, of course, any shiny new feature gets a thorough check-up to ensure it plays nicely with WCAG standards, too.
Booking Engine's New ADA Style Switcher
Get ready to give your guests an extra boost of accessibility with our new ADA Style Switcher. You can now add a nifty Accessibility icon to your Booking Engine.
When guests click on it, they can activate a high-contrast, ADA-compliant theme—perfect for making everything pop.
To turn on the Accessibility icon, just head over to Admin > Portals > Portal Settings > All Pages and flip the switch to "Yes" for the ADA Style Switcher. Easy as that!
Booking Engine Includes Tax Details in Transactional Emails
We've added a detailed tax breakdown to the emails sent to your guests. They'll get the full scoop with clear info on the Room Base Price, Taxes, Fees, Amount Due at the Hotel, Grand Total, Optional Fees, and the Amount to be Paid Now. It’s all laid out so there’s no confusion—just smooth sailing to check-in!
Call Center's Denial Button Makeover
We heard you loud and clear. We've given the denial button a makeover, making it super obvious for our call center agents. No more squinting—just a big, bold button that can't be missed!
Call Center's Complete Reservations Page New Look and Feel
We've given the Complete Reservations page of the Call Center a fresh new look. The updates include a better-organized guest info section, making everything easier to find. We've streamlined the steps with a fill-in form layout, and anything "optional" is now a toggle to reduce clicks—because who doesn't love saving time? Plus, there's a handy floating side panel where you can always check and confirm the summary. Don’t worry, all the great features and functionalities you love are still there, just with a smoother, more user-friendly experience!
