We're excited to share with you the new CRS & Multi-Property Booking Engine features and enhancements we recently deployed.

Partial Availability (Multi-Rate) Now Works with Segment Comp Restrictions

We’ve given our loyalty comp restriction rules a power-up to work with the multi-rate feature. Now, when comp restrictions apply, guests can mix and match—booking comp rates for qualifying nights and paying cash for the rest. Previously, comp rules only limited how many freebie nights guests could book, but with this new logic, they can enjoy the best of both worlds. Comp where you can, cash where you can’t.

Partial Availability (Multi-Rate) to Consider Segment Comps

We’ve supercharged the multi-rate feature in our CRS to now include segment comps along with segment rates and BAR. This means guests can mix eligible segment comps with comp offers, making it easier to find the perfect combo. The new order of priority for partial availability is simple: Segment Comps come first, then Segment BAR, and finally BAR rates. Plus, we’ve added a new comp restriction rule, "Max Comp Per Stay," so you can limit how many comp offers and segment comps guests can stack up during their stay.

To get this feature rolling, just make sure the multi-rate flag is activated at both the property and rate plan levels. The "Max Comp Per Stay" option will appear when (1) loyalty is enabled, and (2) comp restriction use is turned on.

Multi-Property Booking Engine

New Portal Map Views

The map now shows all the properties listed in the Multi-Property Booking Engine. When there are multiple properties close together and the map is zoomed out, you’ll see a handy total property count pop up. Zoom in, and voilà—the lowest price and property info will appear for each location.

And if there’s no availability? No worries, the price indicator will switch to three dashes at 70% opacity, keeping things clear and easy to read.

Configure Map Zoom Level in the CRS

You can now fine-tune the map zoom level in the CRS, ranging from 8 (zoomed out) to 16 (super zoomed in), with 12 as the sweet spot default. If your properties are huddled close together, crank up the zoom so guests can spot them all without needing to zoom in themselves. On the flip side, if your properties are more spread out, a lower zoom level will give a better view. To adjust this setting, just head over to CRS Admin > Portal Settings > Additional Features and tweak away.

Enhanced Booking Form

The updated booking form allows guests to search for properties by entering a specific property name or destination in a searchable drop-down field. Additionally, guests will see the total number of days and nights for their search.

Configure Header Menu Links

You can now customize your header menu links for your multi-property portal just like you do for your single-property portal. Some fan-favorite links include Manage Booking, currency selection, and language selection. Ready to make it your own? Just hop over to CRS Admin > Portals > Configurable Portal Menu and start adding your personal touch.
