Activate MFA

When your new user is created, you will receive an email from the Cendyn administrator (email address = noreply@login.cendyn.com) advising a new user account has been created.

• Click on the link to Active Account. 
• When the browser open, enter a new Password, and select Next (see Password policies below):
  • Passwords must be a minimum of eight characters.
  • Passwords must contain at least a lower and one upper case letter. 
  • Passwords must contain at least one number. 
  • Standard special characters are allowed (i.e., !?&%).

The new SSO account is activated.

Setup your Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) Method

Following the password reset or the next time you login, you are prompted to setup either SMS or email for MFA. You must configure atleast one secondary authentication method. 

NOTE: It is strongly recommended that you setup more than one authentication method in the event you do not have access to either your phone or email. You can configure both now, or one now and add a tertiary authentication method in the future from your profile at login.cendyn.com (see SSO portal Login section).

From the MFA setup screen, select either the SMS or Email radio button. If you select SMS, to configure a mobile phone number: 

• Click the drop down from the Country field and select country for the mobile phone being configured (i.e., Singapore) to populate the appropriate country code. 
• Enter the Phone Number (the country code is auto populated based on your previous selection)
• Enter the Send a Code via SMS button.

You will receive an SMS text message on your mobile device with a validation code. 

• In the application, enter the validation code and select Verify to confirm the activation. 

If you select Email, to configure the registered email on file:

• Select the Send me the Code button

You will receive an email message with a validation code 

• In the application, enter the validation code and select Verify to confirm the activation. 

The multi-factor authentication method(s) are activated and will apply the next time you login.  You now have an active SSO with MFA user account for eInsight.
