Accessing Market Snapshot

1. Login to the Knowland Platform.
2. From the Menu, navigate to Market and click on Market Snapshot.

Set Your View

Adjust the filters to define the market and time period you want to analyze.

• Time Period: Defaults to the last 30 days.
• Comparison Time Period: Defaults to the same date range from the previous year.
• Region, Market, or Sub-Market: Use the dropdown to select the area you'd like to review.

Understanding the Data

Market Snapshot is organized into four sections:

Market KPIs

A high-level summary of your market’s performance. Key metrics include:

• Booking Pace
• Average Bookings per Property
• Average Estimated Attendees
• Average Meeting Space Used

Market Segmentation

View the distribution of bookings by market segment to understand demand across different segments.

Top 10 Industries by Booking Count

• See which industries are driving the most bookings.
• Data includes booking counts, percent change, and filters for segment selection.
• Click on a hyperlinked booking count to generate a list of target accounts.

Meeting Size Trends

• Tables display booking volume by Estimated Attendees and Property Meeting Space or Property Guest Rooms.
• Use this to identify prospects based on specific meeting size trends.
• Click on a hyperlinked booking count to generate a list of target accounts.

Export the Snapshot

Click the blue Export button in the top right corner to download a PDF of the Market Snapshot.
