Single-Use Coupon Codes: Flexible, Controlled Discounts
Our new Single-Use Coupon Codes bring flexibility and control to promotions, all managed through dynamic pricing rules in CRS admin. Here’s what you need to know:
- Unique & Randomized Codes: Generate as many as you need; each code is unique.
- Single Use Only: Once redeemed, it can’t be used again.
- Not Stackable: Just like DPRs, only one coupon per booking.
- Redeemable Only on Cendyn Platforms: Works exclusively with RT4 Booking Engine and RT4 Call Center.
- Manage Codes Easily: Add new codes or remove unused ones anytime.
- Track Performance: Reporting shows redemption rates and links codes to reservations.
- Clear Error Messaging: Users will see specific messages for already redeemed, invalid, or restricted codes.
It’s the same easy setup you love, now with even more control over your discounting strategy.

Day-Use Rooms: Flexibility for Guests, Revenue for Hotels
Day-Use Rooms allow you to offer short-term stays for guests who only need a room for part of the day—whether it’s business travelers needing a quiet workspace, transit passengers with long layovers, or guests looking for a quick rest between activities. These cost-effective stays provide a more affordable alternative to overnight bookings while helping you maximize revenue by filling daytime availability.
How It Works
- You can flag rate plans as Day-Use Rooms in the CRS.
- Guests will see a Day-Use toggle on the Booking Engine, allowing them to filter and view available Day-Use rate plans.
- The rate calendar displays the lowest Day-Use rate by default, and guests can select their preferred option to proceed with booking.
- When booking a Day-Use room, the Booking Engine will show only one date for check-in and check-out.
Additional Notes
- Available only on RT4 Booking Engine and RT4 Call Center.
- PMS integration remains unchanged: “Day-Use” rooms are still treated as 1-night reservations in the backend.
- You must define your own Day-Use policies and terms & conditions.
- Email notifications updated: Confirmation emails now reflect check-in and check-out as the same date.
This feature provides guests with more flexibility while helping hotels optimize revenue during off-peak hours.

Smoother Booking Experience with Skeleton Loaders
To enhance the page load experience on the Booking Engine, we're introducing Skeleton Loaders—a sleek alternative to traditional spinners or blank screens. Instead of waiting in uncertainty, users will see a lightly animated placeholder that mimics the structure of the final content, making the wait feel shorter and the experience more seamless.
Why It’s Better
- More Engaging: Provides a clear visual cue that content is loading, reducing frustration.
- Faster Perception of Speed: Feels quicker than a spinner or progress bar.
- Minimizes Layout Shifts: Keeps page elements stable as content loads.
- Encourages Users to Stay: A structured placeholder reassures users that information is on the way.
Where You’ll See It
- Rooms, Offers, and Specials & Packages Pages: A skeleton loader appears while room and offer summary cards are loading.
- Multi-Property Portal: While Hotel Listing Summary Cards load, a skeleton placeholder keeps the layout structured.
This enhancement makes the Booking Engine feel faster and more responsive, ensuring a better experience for every guest.
Booking Engine Optimized Sign-In & Offer Viewing Experience
Logging in and accessing offers on the Booking Engine just got a lot smoother. Instead of multiple page reloads, we’ve introduced a seamless button loader that keeps things running efficiently while fetching profile data, making the experience faster and frustration-free. We’ve also optimized the "View My Offers" button—so when users click, the system fetches offers directly from the Loyalty API for a more responsive experience. Less waiting, more seamless browsing.
Booking Engine Specials & Packages Flow Update
Finding the best deal just got easier. Users can now quickly spot the lowest available price in the rate calendar, accessible via the new booking form edit option at the top. If a selected rate plan isn’t available on a chosen date, users can click the "Change Dates" button next to that plan to open a rate calendar specific to it, making it effortless to check prices and availability without extra searching.
Multi-Property Booking Engine: A Smoother Mobile Experience
We’ve made it easier for mobile users to search and book seamlessly. The multi-property booking form now stays sticky on mobile, so guests can adjust their search without extra scrolling. Users can update dates, codes, and destinations directly on their respective pages and review their selections on a summary screen before submitting. Not only does this make booking more intuitive, but it also helps reduce unnecessary API calls, keeping everything running smoothly.
Call Center Comments Now Included in PMS Notifications
Comments entered in the RT4 Call Center were previously stored only in the CRS, but now they will also be included in the booking notification sent to the PMS. This ensures that important details are seamlessly communicated, improving coordination and guest service.
