Rooms can be designated as day-use, allowing guests to book for a partial-day stays instead of overnight visits. These rooms are ideal for business travelers, those with layovers, or anyone needing a short rest between activities.

Benefits of Day-Use Rooms

• Cost-Effective for Guests – Cheaper than a full-night stay.
• Ideal for Layovers & Transit Passengers – Convenient for travelers waiting for a flight.
• Work & Meetings – Useful for professionals needing a private workspace.
• Additional Business for Hotels - Hotels can sell room daytime as well to maximize on rooms sell.

Enabling the Day-Use Feature 

Go to Brand Controls > Brand Rate Plans and enable Allow for Day Use on the rate plan edit page.

Navigate to Portals > Portal Settings and activate the Enable Day Use Rooms option.

Repeat the same in Property Management > Property Defaults

Go to the Rate Plan > Add New > Allow for Day Use.
