Release Notes - April 9, 2025

We’ve got two exciting updates coming your way! The FreedomPay integration is now live, and loyalty preference reporting is set to roll out on April 15, 2025. Both features are designed to give you more flexibility and insights—with only minimal downtime expected.

FreedomPay Integration

We’ve integrated the DH Booking Engine with FreedomPay, allowing payments to be processed seamlessly via a Hosted Payment Page (HPP). This means guests will be redirected from the Booking Engine to FreedomPay’s secure page to enter their card details or alternative payment methods. Once the payment is processed, they’ll be automatically returned to the Booking Engine confirmation page for a smooth and secure checkout experience.

• Pay Now: The amount specified in the payment policy is sent to the payment gateway. A payment token is then sent to the PMS via the CRS.
• Pay Later: The system will authorize $0.00 to validate the card. The token is also sent to the PMS via the CRS.

Loyalty Preference Reporting

Remember the Preference Management module we rolled out in 2024 – for customers who use the core Digital Hotelier Loyalty program or Dailypoint™ Loyalty – to let guests share what they like? Well, it's getting smarter.

Now, Booking Engine extranet users can filter the loyalty member list based on the preference categories guests have selected. This makes it easier than ever to understand what your guests want—and tailor experiences they’ll love.
