Booking Engine Upgrades for a Smoother Experience
We’ve made some great updates to the Booking Engine to improve flow, reduce scrolling, and make booking even easier. Here’s what’s new:
Calendar Page (Mobile)
- More room, less clutter: We streamlined the layout by removing the stepper and adjusting padding, so key details take center stage.
- Easier navigation with fewer scrolls—get to the important stuff faster.
Room Listing Page (Mobile & Desktop)
- Tighter layout: Reduced space between the menu, stepper, and booking form for a cleaner look.
- Sticky booking form: It now stays at the top as you scroll, so guests can book whenever they're ready.
- Improved cart interaction for a more seamless experience.
Guest Information Page (Desktop)
- Less scrolling, more booking: The guest info form now displays in two columns instead of one.
- Minimized payment form to keep things tidy.
- Optimized padding for a sleeker, more user-friendly experience.
Guests will enjoy a smoother, faster booking journey—because hassle-free travel planning should start at checkout.
Rate Plan Access Code Status at the Property Level
Managing access codes just got easier. We’ve introduced a new Active/Inactive status for access codes on the Rate Plan Access Code Management page, giving you more control over which codes are in use. Now, you can quickly activate or deactivate access codes as needed—helping you streamline rate plan management and eliminate outdated or unused codes.
What’s New?
- Active/Inactive Status Field: Easily update the status of any access code directly from the management screen.
-
Bulk Management Tools:
- Use a dropdown filter to quickly view active or inactive access codes.
- Select multiple codes at once and bulk delete inactive ones, just like on the Dynamic Pricing Rules page.
-
Excel Template Update:
- The Status field is now included in the exportable template.
- Uploading the updated file ensures the changes reflect in the CRS seamlessly.
Why It Matters?
- Keep your access codes organized by deactivating outdated ones instead of deleting them immediately.
- Save time with bulk actions to update, filter, or remove access codes in one go.
- Ensure consistency across systems with an improved Excel template for easy data updates.
This update makes rate plan management more efficient—so you can focus on optimizing revenue, not wrestling with outdated access codes.
