To enhance security, two-factor authentication (2FA) is enabled by default for all Cendyn CRS logins. Users must enter a verification code sent to their email address in order to access the CRS.
This is a default setting, therefore cannot be disabled.
Two Factor Authentication Set Up
Navigate to Homepage > My Account
- Click on two factor authentication and select enable via email
Users already using 2FA don’t need to take any action and can continue as usual.
- To activate two-factor authentication using an app, click Enable via App
- Select yes to proceed
Viewing the existing verification settings
- Navigate to Users > User Management
- Find a user and click the Edit icon
- At least one of the Two-Factor Authentication options must be checked - users may select one or the other, or both.
- This will result in the user seeing the following prompt when trying to log into the CRS:
- Simultaneously, a verification code (One Time Passcode - OTP ) will be sent to the user, as shown on the below email sample:
For the verification code to be sent successfully, the user's login email address must be active
