To ensure a consistent and smooth experience for guests in any language, the Booking Engine supports multilingual content across all pages and flows, addressing issues where certain languages may not have displayed correctly.
Language translation is managed via Label Translations and CRS setup. Properties must ensure correct CRS configuration for each language to support a consistent multilingual experience.
CRS Configuration
To enable languages for multi portal booking engine, Navigate to Portals > Portals Settings
- Select the Portal and click Go
- Scroll down to Languages and enable your desired languages
- Save the changes
- Once enabled, the selected languages will appear in the Booking Engine
- Languages are listed in alphabetical order in the dropdown
After completing the above steps, to enable languages for a single property, go to Property Management > Property Master
- Scroll down to Property Languages and enable your desired languages
- Save the changes
- Hotels appear in the multi-portal Booking Engine only after the language is configured at the property level
If a selected language isn't configured for a property, that property won't appear in the multi-portal list when that language is chosen.
