By default, you will be alerted by an audio chime and visual indicator every time a new request arrives. For your convenience, you can choose to mute the audio alerts.
Mute Alerts
On the Requests tab, check the Mute New Request Alerts box.
Page Refresh Reminder
When a new request arrives you will see a red pop-up message informing you to refresh your browser page. You will see this message whether or not you have muted New Request Alerts.
Escalated Request Indicators
When an in-house guest submits a request, the request appears highlighted in yellow or red in the Admin Dashboard. These are visual indicators that the guest is in-house and the request requires attention in real-time.
Requests Highlighted in Yellow
A request is highlighted in yellow when:
- it is submitted by a guest who is on-property and has a checked-in status,
- its event type is not In-Room Dining, and
- the Event Time is more than 30 minutes after the request is received.
Requests Highlighted in Red
A request is highlighted in red when:
- it is submitted by a guest who is on-property and has a checked-in status,
- the Event Time is within 30 minutes after the request is received.
