Admin users can log in to the loyalty member portal as if they are the member whose information they are viewing. They have have access to all portal pages such as My Awards, My Stays, My Profile, Preferences, and My Settings and can update content such as Profile information or Preferences on behalf of the member.
How to Access Member Information
First search for a member on the Member Search tab, then select the View icon in the record displayed in the Member Results to access a member's information.
Log in to the Member Portal
On the Member Information tab click the underlined Login link next to Member Portal. The loyalty member portal landing page will open in a new window, bypassing the login page.
If the portal doesn't open in a new window, most often, it is due to a pop-up blocker in your browser. Pop-up blockers in most browsers offer a setting to "Accept pop-up windows from this site" or "Always allow pop-ups from this site." Read below to see how your browser handles pop-up blockers.
Disabling Pop-Up Blockers
Google Chrome
-
Go to a page where pop-ups are blocked.
-
Click the Pop-up blocked icon in the address bar.
- Click the link for the pop-up window you want to see.
- Select Always allow pop-ups from [your member portal url]. Select Done.
Internet Explorer 11
- Select the Tools button, and then select Internet options.
- On the Privacy tab, if the Turn on Pop-up Blocker check box is checked, select Settings.
- Enter your member portal url into Address of website to allow. Select Add.
- Select Close, then OK.
Firefox
- When blocking a pop-up, Firefox displays an information bar (if it hasn't been previously dismissed), as well as an icon in the address bar. When you click either the Options button in the info bar or the icon in the address bar, a menu is displayed.
- Choose Allow pop-ups for this site from the menu.
Safari (macOS)
Safari for macOS has no per-website control over blocking pop-up windows. Pop-ups are either blocked, or they are not.
To allow pop-ups:
- From the Safari menu, choose Preferences... and click the Security tab.
- Ensure the Block pop-up windows option is not checked. Uncheck this option to allow pop-ups.
- To block pop-ups once again, check the Block pop-up windows checkbox.
If you are concerned about allowing pop-ups globally for all websites that you browse, consider using another web browser that allows website exceptions such as Chrome or Firefox.
Edge (Windows 10 only)
Microsoft Edge for Windows 10 has no per-website control over blocking pop-up windows. Pop-ups are either blocked, or they are not.
To allow pop-ups:
- Click the ellipsis icon (...) in the upper right corner of your web browser, and then click Settings.
- In the Advanced settings section, click View advanced settings.
- In the Block pop-ups section, click the switch to Off. Pop-ups are now allowed.
- To block pop-ups once again, click the switch to On.
If you are concerned about allowing pop-ups globally for all websites that you browse, consider using another web browser that allows website exceptions such as Chrome or Firefox.
A manual alternative to bypass a pop-up blocker is clicking and holding the CTRL key while simultaneously clicking the preview button.
