Points-Earning Rules govern programs where members can earn and redeem points for awards. Enter requirements that must be met in order for a rule to be enacted as restrictions on the Rule Restrictions tab. Rule Restrictions are optional.

Only Admin users can access and edit Loyalty Rules.

Select Loyalty Rules

Select the Loyalty Rules tab from the top navigation.

Open an Existing Rule

Select the Edit icon for the corresponding rule you wish to edit.

Rule Restrictions

Select the Rule Restrictions tab.

Minimum Revenue, Room Revenue, F&B Revenue, Other Revenue, Nights and Stays Requirements

Enter the least amount of revenue, nights, and/or stays that can qualify for points using this rule.

Maximum Stays Requirement

Enter the most amount of stays that can qualify for points using this rule.

Market Codes, Rate Codes, Hotels, Room Types and Sources of Business

Use the Include and Exclude radio buttons and drop-down lists to select market codes, rate codes, hotels, room types, sources of business and/or channel codes this rule does or does not apply to. Select the Include or Exclude radio button, then click the drop-down list in the corresponding restriction to select all included or excluded specifications. Learn more about these filters here.

Booking Date

Click the Calendar icons to specify a dates for a Booking Date range, which is the date range within which a stay must have been booked to qualify for points using this rule.

Join Date

Click the Calendar icons to specify dates for a Join Date range, which is the date range within which the member must have joined the Loyalty program to qualify for points using this rule.

Market/Rate Combo

Define specific combinations of Market Codes and Rate Codes that should be included or excluded from this rule. Select the Include or Exclude radio button. Then select a market code and rate code from the respective drop-down lists. Select the down arrow icon. Repeat these steps to create more combinations. A grid below the market/rate combo boxes will display the combination(s) created. Use the Action icon in the market/rate combo grid to remove or edit a market/rate combo.

Save

Select Save after updating all rule restrictions.
