Exclude known problematic URLs from your Basic Validation Report.
URLs sometimes contain errors that will cause them to show up as a problem in a Basic Validation Report but don't actually break when you click on them. (This is most often the case with DNS errors.) When you come across these types of errors in an URL that unnecessarily creates a red flag in your Basic Validation Report, you can add the URL to the list of Basic Validation Exceptions so that the URL will be bypassed whenever you run a Basic Validation Report.
Access the Basic Validation Exception Links Tab
Select the circle icon containing the first initial of your name in the upper right corner to view a drop-down list.
Select Settings from the drop-down list.
Select the Basic Validation Exception Links tab.
Add a New URL to be Excluded
Select Add to add a new URL to be excluded from your Basic Validation Report.
Edit or Delete an Existing URL
Select Edit or Delete to modify an existing URL.

When you add a link to this list, it does not appear on the list until you refresh the page or tab. But it's there.
