Loyalty Awards are items and promotions given to members upon meeting defined minimum requirements set forth in the loyalty program. Fields with asterisks are required.
Add/Edit Award
Select Add to add a new loyalty award.
Select the Edit icon to edit an existing award.
Loyalty Award Details
A blank window will open when you add a new award while a window with existing award details will open when you select to edit an award. Fields with asterisks are required.
Award Name
Enter a name to be displayed for the award.
Code
Enter a unique code that members can use to retrieve the award. The code can be alpha-numeric and must contain three characters.
Start Date and End Date
These dates determine when the award can be applied. Click the Calendar Icon to select a date or enter it manually in this format: mm/dd/yyyy.
Award Status
Switch the Award Status to Off to manually suspend the distribution of the award to members. Switch the Status back to On to resume distribution of the award. Awards are automatically set to On when saved, if not already turned off.
Automated
Switch the Automated button to On when the award should be automatically distributed to members upon certain criteria being met. Switch it to Off when an award needs to be manually redeemed by a member. By default, the Automated button is set to Off (manual distribution).
Save
Select Save to save and update award information.
Award Type
Choose an award type from the drop-down list which may include stays, points-based, nights-based, birthday-based, joined-based or anniversary-based. See below for fields that are specific to certain types of awards.
Your company's configuration determines which award types are available to you.
Stays
Stays awards are given to a member after the member accumulates a certain amount or type of stays.
Award Exp. Month
Enter the number of the months that the award will be valid, once it has been issued.
Member Level
Choose the Member Level(s) that a member must have achieved in order to qualify to receive the award. Choose Select All to include all member levels in the award. Clear selections by choosing Deselect All. Individually click on each level to include only certain levels.
Max Available
Set a limit on the quantity of awards to be given. For example, only the first 100 members to qualify will receive this award.
Earning Rule
Earning rules define what is earned by a member for each qualified stay. Choose one from the drop-down list. See Loyalty Rules for more information.
Email Name
Choose which email notification should be sent to a member when the award is earned.
Voucher Value (USD)
Enter the amount of US dollars equivalent to the value of the voucher.
Points-Based
Points-based awards are given in exchange for a defined amount of a member’s accumulated points.
Points Cost
Enter the quantity of points required to redeem the award.
Award Exp. Month
Enter the number of the months that the award will be valid, once it has been issued.
Member Level
Choose the Member Level(s) that a member must have achieved in order to qualify to receive the award. Choose Select All to include all member levels in the award. Clear selections by choosing Deselect All. Individually click on each level to include only certain levels.
Max Available
Set a limit on the quantity of awards to be given. For example, only the first 100 members to qualify will receive this award.
Nights-Based
Nights-based awards are given to a member after the member accumulates a certain amount of qualified nights. Awards are earned at specific milestones (i.e., 50 nights, 100 nights, etc.) and can be earned only once per member.
Night Cycle
Enter how many nights are included in one cycle of award earning. The Night Cycle renews each time a member completes the cycle.
Night Awarded
Choose after which night(s) of each Night Cycle the award is given to the loyalty member.
Award Exp. Month
Enter the number of the months that the award will be valid, once it has been issued.
Member Level
Choose the Member Level(s) that a member must have achieved in order to qualify to receive the award. Choose Select All to include all member levels in the award. Clear selections by choosing Deselect All. Individually click on each level to include only certain levels.
Max Award per Member
Set a limit on the maximum amount of times the award can be given to a member.
Max Available
Set a limit on the quantity of awards to be given. For example, only the first 100 members to qualify will receive this award.
Hotels
Select the hotel properties to which the award is limited from the drop-down list. Choose Select All to include all hotels in the award. Clear selections by choosing Deselect All. Individually click on each hotel to include only certain hotels.
Email Name
Choose which email notification should be sent to a member when the award is earned.
Birthday-Based
Birthday-based awards are given close the loyalty member’s birth date.
Days Active
Enter the number of days the award is valid for use prior to or following their birth date.
Advance Delivery Days
Enter the number of days prior to the member’s birth date in which the award should be issued.
Min. Qualified Stay
Enter the minimum quantity of stays a member must have accumulated to qualify for this award.
Member Level
Choose the Member Level(s) that a member must have achieved in order to qualify to receive the award. Choose Select All to include all member levels in the award. Clear selections by choosing Deselect All. Individually click on each level to include only certain levels.
Joined-Based
Joined-based awards are given to members when the date they joined the program matches certain criteria.
Award Exp. Month
Enter the number of the months that the award will be valid, once it has been issued.
Max Available
Set a limit on the quantity of awards to be given. For example, only the first 100 members to qualify will receive this award.
Email Name
Choose which email notification should be sent to a member when the award is earned.
Voucher Value (USD)
Enter the amount of US dollars equivalent to the value of the voucher.
Anniversary-Based
Anniversary-based awards are given to members on an annual basis when certain criteria is met.
Days Active
Enter the number of days the award is valid for use prior to or following their anniversary date.
Advance Delivery Days
Enter the number of days prior to the member’s anniversary date in which the award should be issued.
Min. Qualified Stay
Enter the minimum quantity of stays a member must have accumulated to qualify for this award. If no stays are required, select "00."
Member Level
Choose the Member Level(s) that a member must have achieved in order to qualify to receive the award.
Member Group
Choose the applicable Member Group for this Anniversary-Based award.
Email Name
Choose which email notification or marketing email should be sent to a member when the award or promotion is available.
