Create incentives for existing loyalty members to invite their friends to join the loyalty program. For example, grant bonus points to members when their invited friends successfully sign up.

Select the Loyalty Setup Tab

Select the Loyalty Setup tab from the main navigation.

Referral Program Table

Invites #

The number of invites that must result in a successful sign-up in order to qualify for the award.

Start Date

Invites must be sent on the start date of the program or later.

End Date

Invitees must join the loyalty program by the end date in order to count towards the reward.

Awarded

This column updates after the program ends and displays the total number of members who earned the award.

Status

Possible program statuses are: Scheduled (program has a future start date), Active (the program start date has been reached but not the end date) and Deactivated (one day beyond the end date).

Edit a Referral Program

Select the Edit icon to edit an existing referral program.

Referral Program Details

A blank window will open when you add a new referral program, while a window with existing referral program details will open when you select to edit a referral program. Fields with asterisks are required.

Name

Enter a name for the referral program, which will appear on the Member Invites tab.

Description

Enter a member-facing summary of the program including requirements and restrictions. This content will appear in the loyalty member portal in an Invite Friends section.

Code

Enter a three character code for the program, for internal use.

Number of Invites

Enter the minimum number of invites that must result in a successful sign-up in order to qualify for the award.

Points Per Invite

Enter the amount of points the member will receive per successful sign-up.

Exp. Month

Enter the number of months after which the bonus points will expire.

Reminder Days

An email will be sent to the Admin as a reminder that the program is ending soon. Enter the number of days before the program ends that the reminder email should be sent.

Reminder Email

Enter an email address where the reminder email should be sent.

Start and End Dates

Choose dates to define when the program is active.

Save

Select Save to save and update the referral program.
