Merge, delete and rename uploaded data sources in eInsight. These lists are also referred to as “CLIENT” data sources.
Access the Data Source Tab
Select the circle icon containing the first initial of your name in the upper right corner to view a drop-down list.
Select Admin from the drop-down list.
Select the Data Source tab or scroll through the tabs using the arrow on the right side of your screen to select the Data Source tab.
Merge Data Sources
- Select the Merge tab if it isn't already selected.
You will see two drop-down lists:
- Winning Data Source: This list will be merged first and becomes the new host of the data from the Losing Data Source.
- Losing Data Source: This list will be merged second. The data from this list is merged into the Winning Data Source.
- Select a Winning Data Source and a Losing Data Source from the respective drop-down lists.
- Select Merge.
- To continue with the merge, select Yes in the confirmation window. To cancel the merge, select No.
Delete a Data Source
- Select the Delete tab if it isn't already selected.
- Select the data source you wish to delete from the drop-down list.
- Select Delete.
- To continue with the deletion, select Yes in the confirmation window. To cancel the deletion, select No.
Rename a Data Source
- Select the Rename tab if it isn't already selected.
- Select the data source you wish to rename from the drop-down list.
- Type the new name for the data source in the Data Source Name field.
- Select Rename.
- To continue with the renaming, select Yes in the confirmation window. To cancel the renaming, select No.
