When you insert an image onto the stage or click on an image that has already been added to the email, the properties area of the editor will display settings and tools pertaining to the selected image:

Change Image

Click an image to replace it with a new one.

Edit Image

Click to launch an advanced image editing tool that allows you to resize the image, apply visual effects, and much more. See “Editing Features” below for details.

URL

Specifies where the current image is saved. You can also paste an external URL here to load an image from that URL.

Adjust to Width

Toggle this setting ON and OFF to automatically fill (ON) or not fill (OFF) the entire area of the message in which the image was placed.

Alternate Text

Enter the text that should display when images are turned off. This is an email design best practice since some email clients turn off images by default.

Action

You may link the image to a URL, to a new message in an email client or to a phone number for making a call or sending a text message. You can also link the image to a file or image that you previously uploaded to eGallery through the editor’s file manager. To create a link, click Link file, navigate to your file or image, and click on it. See “Linking Files to Images or Buttons” below for details.

Spacing

Change the padding (or space) on each side of the image.
