A Primary Campaign that is associated with a Journey will have the associated Sub-campaigns listed underneath. Select the arrows to expand or collapse access to the Sub-campaigns.
Schedule Campaign
Select Schedule Campaign, which is visible when the campaign has a status of Approved.
Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL)
In compliance with CASL, prior to scheduling a marketing or transactional email, you must choose to include or exclude all recipients with Canadian or blank country codes.
- By selecting Include you confirm that you have consent from recipients with Canadian or blank country codes.
- By selecting Exclude all recipients with Canadian or blank country codes will be suppressed from your campaign audience when the campaign sends.
- If you wish to exclude Canadian recipients but include those with blank country codes, please modify your audience segment accordingly in the campaign criteria tab. Contact your Cendyn Client Success Team if you need assistance.
Select Get Counts to see how choosing either Include or Exclude affects your total counts of emails.
Choose Timing
Select how often the campaign should be sent and the day and time. For campaigns being sent more than once, see Scheduling a Recurring Campaign.
Select Schedule & Publish.
Here's another way you can reach the Schedule Campaign area:
- Navigate to Campaigns > Manage.
- Click the Approved tab to quickly locate your campaign.
- In the Status column for the campaign, click Approved.
- In the pop-up, click Ready to Schedule. It will take you to the Schedule Campaign area where you can select Schedule & Publish.

Published/Active Journey
When a Primary Campaign that is associated with a Journey is scheduled, the Journey is then considered published and has a status of Active. A toggle button will appear in the Builder showing that the Journey is active. Before you can make changes to the Journey, you must switch the toggle to the Inactive position.
Inactive Journey
To stop a Journey from being sent, either temporarily or permanently, switch the toggle to the Inactive position. A Journey with an Inactive status is inoperative.
Reschedule and Republish
If you have saved a Primary Campaign after making changes to it, select Update Schedule & Republish to re-activate the Journey.
