ENCOURAGING GUESTS TO EXPLICITLY CONFIRM THEIR MARKETING CONSENT
eInsight CRM | Enterprise marketing automation and guest intelligence
As part of our commitment to hospitality innovation and GDPR compliance, we’re making some significant enhancements to eInsight CRM that will allow your hotel and email marketing recipients to manage explicit consent of all email communications. These changes will be will be released on Wednesday, May 23rd beginning at 8:00 PM EST.
Your email recipients will see a new Communications Preferences page that enables them to manage their subscription
If a recipient clicks a subscription link within your email marketing campaign, they will now be taken to a new Communications Preferences page where they can choose to either opt-in or opt-out of your email communications. If you’re an active email marketer within eInsight, don’t worry, your unsubscribe links within existing campaigns will automatically be redirected to the new Communications Preferences page.
Add your logo to the Communications Preferences page
Now that your email recipients will be taken to your Communications Preferences page you should spruce it up a bit to continue your brand experience.
Within your eInsight CRM account there is a new tab labeled Company Logo under Admin that enables you to easily upload your property logo so that it appears on the recipient-facing Communications Preferences page.

Now that we have you thinking about consent and GDPR requirements, we thought we’d let you know that you can indicate bulk consent or non-consent for new guest data that enters your eInsight CRM account
Within your eInsight CRM account there is a new tab labeled Manage Consent under Admin > Data Source that enables you to manage the bulk consent status of all profiles from particular data sources like your property's PMS, web subscription forms, etc. This feature is important for marketers who want to ensure they are conforming to GDPR regulations.

If you want to fine-tune your recipient preferences while building an audience for your campaign, you can do that now, too
You’ll see a new list of options within the Audience Builder campaign settings that enable you to explicitly include recipients with non-consent status.
