The Denials and Regrets Reasons report allows the user to scan across Inventory Dates and look at all denials and regrets by reason. This allows the user to identify periods of questionable activity, such as days with low forecasted occupancy and many regrets or denials.
- Regret: A guest decides not to stay at a property.
- Denial: A guest is turned away by the property because their control segment, offer or room category was not available.
Report Rows
Report rows contain Inventory Dates.
Report Columns
- Hotel: The ID or property code for the property.
- Inventory Date: The calendar date of the Inventory Date.
- DOW: The day of the week of the Inventory Date.
- Room Category: Grouping of Room Types; one of the four attributes used for defining the Revenue Management Product.
- Customer Segment: Individual Customer Segments the client has defined for revenue management purposes.
- Days Left: The difference between the Arrival Date and Capture Date.
- Cur Total Comm (Current Total Committed): The number of rooms already committed [transient sold + max. (group blocked, group sold or group override)].
- Fcst Total RmNts (Forecast Total Sold): The constrained forecast number of transient sold rooms + max. (group blocked, group sold or group override).
- Cur Grp Blk (Current Group Blocks): The number of rooms blocked for groups.
- Cur Grp RmNts (Current Group Sold): The number of rooms sold to groups.
- Cur Group Avail (Current Group Available): The number of rooms available for sale from those blocked for groups (Current group block - Current group sold).
- Cur Avail (Current Transient Available): The number of rooms available for sale to transient guests (Trans Occupancy - Current Room Nights for each managed type).
- Fcst Avail (Forecast Transient Available): The forecast number of rooms available for sale to Transient Guests (Current Transient Available - Remaining Constrained Forecast).
- Regrets Casino Rate 1 Day Pickup: The number of requests for a casino rate that customers declined due to price sensitivity or other non-availability factors on that capture date.
- Regrets Casino Rate Current: The total number of requests for a casino rate that customers declined due to price sensitivity or other non-availability factors as of that capture date.
- Regrets Avail Retail Rate 1 Day Pickup: The number of requests for a retail rate that customers declined due to price sensitivity or other non-availability factors on that capture date.
- Regrets Avail Retail Rate Current: The total number of requests for a retail rate that customers declined due to price sensitivity or other non-availability factors as of that capture date.
- Denials Room Cat 1 Day Pickup: The number of denied rooms due to lack of availability for that Room Category on that capture date.
- Denials Room Cat Current: The total number of denied rooms due to lack of availability for that Room Category as of that capture date.
- Denials Offer 1 Day Pickup: The number of denied rooms due to lack of availability for a specific offer on that capture date.
- Denials Offer Current: The total number of denied rooms due to lack of availability for a specific offer as of that capture date.
- Denials Date 1 Day Pickup: The number of denied rooms due to lack of availability on that Inventory Date on that capture date.
- Denials Date Current: The total number of denied rooms due to lack of availability as of that capture date.
