Based On
Indicate which stay date(s) must fall within the start and end dates to be eligible for the rule.
- Arrival: Rules are calculated based on the stay arrival date falling within the selected start and end dates. Note: When creating a bonus rule, full points will not be awarded in one lump sum on the date of arrival. The awarding process follows your program's standard points earning rules typically at the end of a member's stay.
- Departure: Rules are calculated based on the stay departure date falling within the selected start and end dates. Note: When creating a bonus rule, full points will not be awarded in one lump sum on the date of departure. Start Date and End Date
Define the valid dates of the rule. Click the Calendar icon to select a date or manually enter a date in this format: mm/dd/yyyy.
The start and end date time zones are associated with how the original configuration was implemented with eConnectivity. Loyalty receives all data and settings from the eInsight database.
Priority
The priority number determines the order in which the rule is applied, in relation to other rules. The lowest number has the highest priority. No two rules can have the same priority. To add a priority, enter a numerical, positive value in the field.

Revenue Type
If the rule is calculated on revenue, choose what type of revenue from the drop-down list: room, food and beverage, other or total.
Total Revenue is only available for stay-based rules and cannot be used for qualified night-based rules. Currently, all revenue must be associated with a room reservation and cannot be awarded ad-hoc. For example, a member dined in an F&B outlet but did not have a hotel room reservation. The revenue spent at the outlet cannot be associated to the member at this time).
Points Expiry Month

Include Member Level

Stop Further Rules
Check the Stop Further Rules box to prevent rules with a lower priority than this one from being applied after this rule.
Loyalty Rule examples:
Short Stay Rule – For stays equal to or less than 25 nights, one point will be earned per qualifying night, per $1 USD spent on room revenue.
Long Stay Rule – For stays equal to or greater than 36 nights, 0.5 point will be earned per qualifying night, per $1 USD spent on room revenue.
