If so configured, view, add or edit special offers and associated promotions created for the loyalty program.

Offers tend to drive direct bookings more than anything else. In your program, you can create special rates and packages that are only available to loyalty members such as 10% off the Best Flexible Rate or a 2 for 1 stay for the member’s birthday.

You can also create bonus rules and present them as offers. For example, you could award double points for staying at a specific hotel on specific dates. Or you can have offers that tie into the booking widget and pass promo codes to the IBE, allowing guests who aren’t members to book that promo. There are so many variables at your disposal when creating offers and rules, the possibilities are endless.

Please note that including these types of offers in your loyalty program requires an integration between your program and the providers of the IBE you use. Loyalty provides a full range of APIs and authentication processes that can pass a member’s info to the IBE. Once that integration is established and the data is flowing, the IBE providers would handle the rate setup for your members.

Select the Loyalty Setup Tab

Select the Loyalty Setup tab from the main navigation.

Add an Offer

Select the Offers tab, then +Add Offer.

Edit an Offer

Select the Edit icon to edit an existing offer. 

Offer Details

A blank window will open when you add a new offer, while a window with existing offer details will open when you select to edit a offer. Fields with asterisks are required.

Title

Enter a title for the offer, for internal use.

Visibility Start and End

Choose dates to define when the offer will be visible on the member loyalty website. Only during these dates can members view the offer.

Member Level

Choose the Member Level(s) that a member must have achieved in order to qualify to receive the offer. Choose Select All to include all member levels in the offer. Clear selections by choosing Deselect All. Individually click on each level to include only certain levels.

Promotion Start and End

Choose dates to define when the offer is valid. Only during these dates can the promotions be used.

Short Description

Enter a brief summary of the offer including requirements and restrictions. Use the tool bar to format the content and include links.

Image

Select the Edit icon to add a promotional image to be featured with the offer on the loyalty member portal.

Select Browse in the Image Cropper window. Locate the image in your files and select Open.

Use the slider to crop the image, then select Save.

Promotions

After entering the offer information, scroll down to view, add or edit promotions associated with the offer. Fields with asterisks are required.

Add a Promotion

Select Add Another Promotion.

Edit a Promotion

Select the Edit icon to edit an existing promotion.

Setup Promo

A blank Setup Promo window will open when you add a new promotion, while a window with existing promotion details will open when you select to edit a promotion. Fields with asterisks are required.

Promotion Code

Enter a validation code for the promotion. It can contain both alphabetical and numerical values.

Button Text

Enter text to appear on the call to action button (hyperlink) on the loyalty member portal.

Hotel Selection

Select the hotel properties from the drop-down list that the promotion applies to. Choose Select All to include all hotels. Clear selections by choosing Deselect All. Individually click on each hotel to include only certain hotels.

Save

Select Save to save the promotion. Repeat the process to add more promotions to the offer.

Review the entire offer and when satisfied, select one of the two Save buttons.
