Create a new Proposal and give it a name or open an existing draft to edit.
Notes
If a Sales & Catering system integration is in use, the relevant opportunity information is pre-populated. Changes to that information in Proposals will not update the Sales & Catering system.
Select a Property
If you have access to more than one property, select a property from the drop-down menu.
Select Create/Edit
Select Create/Edit > Proposal from the main navigation.
Or I want to... > Create/Edit a Proposal from the Welcome page.
Create a New Proposal
The Select Proposal field defaults to New Proposal.
If your Proposal is configured for two languages, you will see a drop-down list containing those two languages on any page that requires you to enter content. To take advantage of this feature, you must first create content in one of the available languages, such as English, for example. Then you must select the other language from the drop-down list on that page and proceed to create content in that language. If you have created stored content in your second language, it will appear when you toggle to that language.
In Step 1 - Compose, toggle between your two languages here:
Edit an Existing Proposal
You can edit any saved Proposals draft that has not been sent to a client. To edit a draft or previously saved Proposals, choose it from the Select Proposals drop-down list and your data for that proposal will appear. Proceed to edit and/or complete the Proposals.
When editing an existing Proposal, after you have completed all the steps the first time, you can jump to any step from any other step to get to the area you want to edit by clicking in the top navigation.
Proposals Name
Enter a name for your Proposal, keeping in mind that it will appear as the subject line of the email you send to your client and will appear after the salutation in the Welcome Message.
Choose a unique and precise name that you will be able to identify quickly at a later date (e.g., ABC Group Annual Meeting).
From
The From field automatically defaults to your name. If you have administrative permissions, you will see a drop-down list in the From field that will contain the names of your staff members. Choose any of the users from the list to appear in the Proposal.
