Once your Proposal is complete, send it to your client one of two ways: have the system automatically send your client an email notification OR use the self-send feature to send the Proposal with your own email application.
Save as My Favorite
Check the box to save this Proposal as your My Favorite if you want to use the settings from this Proposal in future new Proposal of the same module type.
You may only have one favorite Proposal for each module.
Update your My Favorite
If you make changes to a Proposal that is your current My Favorite, you will be prompted to update your My Favorite in Review & Send - Step 5. If you update it, the changes you made will overwrite your previously saved favorite settings.
Take your time making sure your Proposal is ready before you send it. You may review it by clicking the Preview button as many times as you like prior to sending.
Send
When you choose the default Send option, an email will be sent from the system, with you as the sender, to your client letting them know where and how to view their new Proposal.
Self-Send
When you choose the Self-Send option, your own email application will open (see the Note below) along with a new draft email. This draft will contain a link to your Proposal and the message that Cendyn previously created with your provided verbiage. You can edit the email as needed (but be careful not to alter the link) and then send it to your client. With the Self-Send option, it is solely your responsibility to send the email via your own email application in order for your client to receive it and for it to be properly tracked.
When you choose Self-Send, the Proposal will immediately be added to your activity log with a status of Self-Sent, whether you actually send it or not.
If you use Windows on a PC and have an email application (i.e., Outlook, Office 365, Yahoo, Google, etc.) already set up, it will automatically open as noted above. However, if you haven't set up an email application, you will be prompted to add an email account.
Follow the prompts to complete the setup or contact your IT department for assistance.
If your email application doesn't open as expected, disable the pop-up blocker in your browser and try again.
