Kayak Campaigns
- To activate your Kayak campaigns, navigate to the Campaign Manager and click on All Platforms
- Ensure only Kayak is selected from the list and click Apply
- Alternatively, click on the Kayak header at the bottom of the page
This page is dedicated to configuring and displaying statistics for your Kayak campaigns, and includes a graph showing default metrics. Customize your metrics or hide the graph with a single click.
Hover over the metrics to view their definitions.
- Click the Edit icon to configure your campaigns. If there are multiple hotels in your account, select the hotel to activate.
Bidding Options
- Select from the available markets, choose the bid strategy to apply, and then click Save:
- Auto Bid 2nd Position: Automatically adjusts your bid to ensure your campaign appears in the second position on Kayak.
- Minimum Bid: Sets your bid to the standard CPC, which varies by market.
- Minimum Bid + Extra Bid: Sets your bid to the standard CPC plus an additional amount specified in the corresponding field. Example: If the minimum bid is €0.85 for the Argentinian market, and you set an extra bid of €0.05, each click in this market will cost you €0.90.
- Minimum Bid To Be Above Threshold: Positions your ad above the "x more sites" button so users can see your hotel's best price without clicking "x more sites."
- 75% Bid To Be Above Threshold: Positions your ad above the "x more sites" button 75% of the time.
- Minimum Bid To Be At Select Button: Positions your ad above the orange "View Offer" button, the most visible placement on Kayak.

Extra Bid
- The extra Bid tab allows you to apply an additional bid amount that will apply to all markets if your overall bid is set to Minimum Bid.
- The Max Bid serves as a cap, ensuring your bid does not exceed a specified amount.
Multipliers
- The Multipliers tab allows you to configure bid multipliers to adjust your initial bid, making your campaigns more or less visible depending on the selected segment: Weekend Stay, Days to Arrival, Length of Stay. Example: For the Length of Stay segment, you can add a bid multiplier of +10% to increase your initial bid by 10% for stays of 1–2 nights.
- Your campaigns are now activated and will be visible on Kayak within one week.
- When you activate campaigns on Kayak, your ads are automatically displayed on http://hotelscombined.com .
- The dropdown menu + Add segment allows you to display your campaign results based on different segments:

- Device → Shows results based on the device used by the user who clicked on your campaigns: computer, mobile, or tablet.
- Markets → Shows results based on the market from which the user clicked on your campaigns.
- Hotels → Displays results by hotel.
- Groups → Displays results by group.
- Date → Shows campaign results day by day.
- Length of Stay → Displays results based on the number of nights selected by the user before clicking on your campaigns.
- Days to Arrival → Analyzes how many days in advance your customers search for your hotel.
- Hotel Country → Displays results for the country of the hotel.
- Weekend Stay → Determines whether the click included a weekend day.
- Click the column addition icon to show or hide metrics.
