Then utilize a Rate Code Pace Report and apply the Channel filter to drill down to the Market Segment/Rate Codes driving the specific channel. This is one of the most utilized reports in Revintel today. It provides OTB pace vs a Comparison Year at the Market Segment and Rate Code level. Utilize this report to dig into which rate codes are impacting a segment's performance. This pace report is a DOW to DOW comparison.

You can interact with the data in the tool or download to Excel. Drill into each segment to see which rate codes drove the performance for a particular market segment. Are there strategies that caused certain rates to outperform the Comparison Year? You can review this report for future dates; however, the Current Year data will reflect OTB vs Actuals for the Comparison Year.

Identify successes the team contributed to, for example, Corporate Accounts or Consortia Accounts that outperformed the Comparison Year. Utilize the Market or Channel filter to analyze rate code production for particular Market Segments (i.e., Consortia) or Channel (i.e., GDS).

This is a great report to evaluate how your strategies are impacting your channels. Are your strategies in particular segments helping drive your most profitable distribution channels? You can either run the report for historical dates or you can run the report for OTB vs your Comparison Year Actuals. See how your channel mix today compares vs Actuals. Are you driving more volume into your low cost channels (i.e., Web Direct)?
Vary your filters to identify opportunities and successes. Identify which channels drive most of your Best Available Rate (i.e., Rate Code filter). If you have activated a promotion/package, identify which channels are driving volume - does that align with your channel marketing strategy?
