When your site or loyalty portal requires maintenance, it's crucial to keep your site visitors informed. Through the Cendyn CMS, you can quickly enable a maintenance mode page for site or loyalty portals to keep visitors in the know.
Loyalty Portal
If you must put your loyalty member portal into maintenance mode, head to the Loyalty module and select the loyalty Settings.
Once in Settings, switch the Maintenance Mode toggle to ON. A special page will display alerting users that maintenance is underway. Change the toggle to OFF when maintenance is complete.
Should you wish to enable this feature, first submit a request online or send a request to your Cendyn Customer Success Team to update the branding of your maintenance mode page.
Update Page Content
Once the branding on your page is ready, you can modify the page content yourself in the Loyalty module by selecting the Maintenance page and editing the content as needed.
Site Maintenance
If you must put your site into maintenance mode, select Settings from your CMS dashboard.
From there, scroll down to select Application Settings.
Once in Application Settings, switch the Maintenance Mode toggle to On.
A special page will display alerting users that maintenance is underway.
Unlike the loyalty portal, the site maintenance page is standard and cannot be edited.
A banner will appear across the top of all pages within the CMS to notify internal users that the site is in maintenance mode. Selecting the hyperlink within the banner will take you to Application Settings.
Once the maintenance is complete, disable the maintenance mode page to restore your site's normal operation by toggling Maintenance Mode to OFF.
