Follow these instructions to embed a video into an email campaign.

Option 1: Use a gif. Gifs are lighter than videos; however, not all providers will play them.
If you use a gif, ensure the first frame contains all the information you want to display. Email providers who do not play gifs will display the first frame.
Option 2: Lay a "play" button over an image and link this to the YouTube video where it will play.
Option 3: Use an actual video instead of a hero image.
Very few email providers will play a video, especially those using mobile data, so this is not recommended.
