CRS supports four types of hierarchical users, each with different access rights and permissions to ensure that only authorized persons have access to sensitive menus.

User roles supported by Cendyn CRS
The CRS supports the following user roles:
- Super User
- Brand User
- Property User
- Reports User
- Read-Only User
- Front Desk User
- BPO User
- Reseller User
Super User (SU): This user will have access to everything and can change anything.
Brand User (BA): Brand Administrator has administrative rights to all properties of a hotel brand.
Property User (PU): Property Users have full administrative rights to manage properties that have been assigned specifically to them. They will not be able to access other properties belonging to the hotel brand.
Report User (RU): Report User can only view and generate reports, and retrieve credit card billing information for reservations made on properties that are assigned to them.
Read-Only User (RO): Read Only access gives a user permission to only view information on the CRS. This user cannot add, edit, or delete any information.
Front Desk User (FD): The users with this access can access the House Controls menu, view and generate reports, and retrieve credit card billing information for reservations made on properties that are assigned to them.
BPO User (BP): Slightly less access than a Superuser - Global Control, GDS Settings, GDS Rate Plan, Mapping Interfaces, Property Management, Edit Page, About the Property, Taxes and Fees, Channels, Amenities, Rooms Edit page, Rate Plan Edit page, All reports, All other pages are read only.
Reseller User (RS): Similar to a Brand User, but with expanded access. Resellers can access Property Management, Alternate Properties, Global Controls, ARI Pushes.
Creating a User
Navigate to: Users > Add User
Enter First Name, Last Name, Email and User Name.
Select User type.
Remember to click on Save to confirm your changes and move to the sections below.
Updating the User Type
Navigate to: Users > List All
Select a user and click on Edit to change the User Type.
Remember to click on Save to confirm your changes and move to the sections below.
Disabling a user
Navigate to: Users > List All
Select a user and click on Edit.
Select Disable Account and save your changes.
