Inactivate a rate plan to prevent it from being sold through any distribution channels. 

Tip
It is recommended to have an Inactive Rates folder to separate them from the ones that are being distributed.

Creating an Inactive Rate Folder

In Inventory-Rates and select Rates, right-click on Add Rate and select Add Rate from the pop-up.

In the pop-up window, enter Inactive Rates as a Rate Name and click on Add Rate.

You will be prompted to complete the Rate Wizard but cancel this step. The new folder will show in your rate tree after refreshing the page.

Inactivating a Rate

In the Rate Setup tab, select Inactive Rates from the Belongs to field and remove the External Reference.

Check the box Rate NOT available for direct sale and save your changes.

Go to the Contracts tab and click on Inactivate next to the applicable contract.

Go to the Channels tab and click on Inactivate next to all channels.
