Negotiated, Consortia and Group rates require a contract in RVNG for the viewership to be restricted to selected clients. This includes the linking of Rates Access Codes (RAC) and Pseudo City Codes (PCC) for the distribution channels.

Step 1 - The Contract Shell

Go to Contracts and click on +Add New.

Select the Contract Type from the drop-down list and enter an Access Code for the rate.

Enter a Date range for the validity of the contract (use an End Date several years ahead to keep it active).

Enter the rate name in the Short Description field.

Leave the drop-down on No if you don’t want to display public rates if this one is unavailable.

Step 2 - Rate Access Codes

Once the Contract is saved, return to it by clicking on Edit on the Contracts page.

Click on Channel Conversions.

In the new screen, click on Assign New.

Select the Channel IBE 2017 via BookingDirect.

• Enter a Begin Date (no End date).

• Enter the rate Code specific to the distribution Channel (as per Rate loading instructions).
