The Booking Detail Report can be found on the Dashboard, in the Reports section.
It creates an extraction of booking and Travel Agent activity including cancellation information such as the following:
- Cancellation Number
- Cancellation Date
- Cancel Channel
- Cancel Channel Type
- Cancelled Room Nights
- Cancelled Revenue
Report Time Period and Date Type
Select the following:
- A specific Time Period using the radio button (For example: Yesterday For information on reservations of the previous day)
- The Date Type ( The report can be based on Booking Date, Arrival Date or Departure Date)
Property Status and Booking Channels
Leave the Property Status dropdown option on Active Only.
Use the single arrow to select your property.
Use the double arrow to select ALL booking channels.
Report Settings
A. Select the currency to be displayed on the report
B. Enter a report name (optional)
C. Select the format CSV only. Other formats will show a blank report
D. Use the Calendar to set up a future date for the report (optional)
E. Use the dropdown to set up future time for the report (optional)
F. If you have selected step D and E, select a time zone for the future report (optional)
G. Set up a Daily, weekly or monthly report recurrence (optional)
H. For recurrent reports, choose whether the day (or year) should adjust each time the report runs
I. Enter the email(s) the report should be sent to or click on Use my email
J. By clicking on Create Report, it will be sent to the email address entered and to the Report Centre, where it can be viewed and downloaded
Reading the CSV report
Once downloaded, the report will display a lot more information than just the cancellation data.
Therefore, we recommend filtering the relevant columns to allow a better focus on the requested information.
