Validation - Unordered columns
If the columns in Excel are not in the proper order, you will receive an error indicating the order on the file, and the order that you must send. Should this happen, correct the error in your file, and select Reload Files.
Validation - Wrong data types
The Revintel app makes some validation related to the data types in the file that you’re trying to upload. For example, if the type of the column is a number and you enter text, you will receive an error like the following image (indicating the current value and the correct data ). Should this happen, correct the error in your file, and select Reload Files.
Validation - Wrong data values
In the same way that we’re validating the data type, we’re also validating the data. Therefore, if you’re sending an incorrect Hotel ID, Market Segment Code, or Business Unit ID, you will receive an error like this. Should this happen, correct the error in your file, and select Reload Files.
Process – Fails when uploading the file
If the upload process failed for any reason, you will receive the exact time and the process name. This information will be required to help the customer support team to identify what went wrong during the process. Should this happen, correct the error in your file, and select Reload Files.
With this new feature enhancement, you’re allowed to process multiple files at the same time. It is possible that some files pass the validation and others do not. So in these cases, each file will have its own bullet should you have an issue as pictured below:
You can proceed with the process by selecting “Complete Upload”, and the application will only process the file(s) that were successfully validated. In order to resolve the other issues, you would need to correct the items listed in red on your file, and then re-upload the file to Revintel.
